The factory cast Manta cover for the carb and distributor wouldn't work for my car since it came with a high-rise intake. I fabricated a larger cover from perforated steel and some stacks I found on eBay.http://mantacarsforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=510&stc=1http://mantacarsforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=511&stc=1http://mantacarsforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=512&stc=1http://mantacarsforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=513&stc=1http://mantacarsforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=514&stc=1

Still working on the feed lines to the fuel blocks...hopefully this will not totally eliminate my vision out the rear view mirror!

Not bad! How is this assembly held in place?

The unit mounts to the cast aluminum aircleaner top with screws into tapped holes. The aircleaner top and unit are removable as an assembly by removing the carb stud. The body clears this unit when I open it.

That adds a lot to the overall look of the car.
Part of the fun of owning these cars.

It looks at first glance like you have a Weber Downdraft set up! Pretty slick. Thanks for sharing and posting.
